You could call Jay the front man. At J5 Speedshop, he develops and manages the chassis division, as well as operations. He has been in the restoration industry for 18 years, and wanted to start a stress free shop for both the customers and the team.

You could call Jay the front man. At J5 Speedshop, he develops and manages the chassis division, as well as operations. He has been in the restoration industry for 18 years, and wanted to start a stress free shop for both the customers and the team.
While every project has a shot at becoming his favorite build, the LWB-R has a been his favorite to work on. It was the first chassis the J5 shop developed. He looks forward to showing and racing it in the upcoming seasons.
Jay says, "The best feeling at the shop is flipping my welding hood, and seeing Thor prepping parts for paint, Jake wiring an LS power plant, and Jimmy B enjoying an apple pie."

Thor is a self-styled jack of all trades, master of none. He has fun with his work, and it shows in the results.
He lives a "full send" life, and this persistence has given him the flexibility we see in his work. He considers his joining the J5 team a God given mission.
Thor's favorite projects are import builds with a turbo, and his work on the WRX is his #1.

Jake considers himself a wiring badass, a mechanics expert, and a wide open throttle enthusiast. His love of cars and working on them is what brought him to J5 Speedshop.
His favorite project has been the 1981 Toyota Corolla drift car. And he most values the opportunity to hone his chassis manufacture skills.

Jimmy B says that his role at J5 Speedshop found him. Like many of the others, it was just meant to be. His favorite project is the 55 right now. But everything started with the '63 C10.
Jim says the best part of being at the shop is spending time with the boys.
